OPERATIONS GENERAL MANAGER
Andy Murphy
Andy has been promoted from within the company to Operations General Manager, whilst continuing to head and support the engineering team’s activities.  Andy graduated from Loughborough University with an Engineering degree in 1996 and joined European Antennas Ltd in September of that year. Starting in the drawing office, his understanding and knowledge of antenna design, combined with his management skills has grown with the company.

HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Malcolm Ware
Malcolm is responsible for business development worldwide, whilst continuing his responsibilities for the Americas. Malcolm graduated from Bristol University in 1977 and has been involved with the microwave industry for over 25 years. He joined European Antennas Ltd in 1994, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience in the sales of microwave products and systems to the then newly-established company and now to the benefit of our many customers in North America.

FOUNDER, MANAGING DIRECTOR, GENERAL MANAGER

Brian Phillips, March 1960 - March 2011

Brian Phillips was one of the most respected experts in the field of antenna design in the United Kingdom. In 1991 Brian founded his company, European Antennas Ltd, which became of Cobham plc in 1999. His experience in antenna design spanned 30 years following his degree in Physics/Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. He designed hundreds of antennas from HF wire to the hugely diverse range of microwave antennas from his own company. From small beginnings and with rapid growth, Brian took our business into a massive global market for high specification antennas.
Brian's outstanding technical skills were complemented by his managerial, leadership and financial acumen made him one of the outstanding business personalities in our industry.
