MANAGING DIRECTOR
Brian Phillips
Brian’s experience in the antenna industry spans 25 years following his degree in Physics from Cambridge University. He has designed hundreds of antennas from HF wire antennas, through VHF and UHF broadcast and higher frequency products, to a hugely diverse range of printed circuit based microwave frequency designs and innovations. He has been managing director of European Antennas for 16 years.  His technical experience is complemented by his managerial, leadership and financial acumen which together with that of the senior management of European Antennas Ltd has seen the company make rapid progress in its chosen market.

HEAD OF SALES
Steve Blades
Steve heads our sales and marketing team, with responsibility for a number of key major military and commercial accounts. Steve graduated from Nottingham Trent in 1992 with a Masters Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and has a strong background in the commercial side of the business having previously worked for Stratex Networks and Radio Waves. Steve joined European Antennas in 2004.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Malcolm Ware
Malcolm is responsible for products and markets for North America and globally for satellite operators looking for active and passive ground based antennas. Malcolm graduated from Bristol University in 1977 and has been involved with the microwave industry for over 25 years. He joined European Antennas in 1994, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience in the sales of microwave products and systems to the newly-established company.

FUTURE TECHNOLOGIES AND MODELLING
Chris Walker
Chris is responsible for the assessment, modeling and development of antennas for future technologies and the coordination of European Antennas anechoic test chamber.  He graduated from Cambridge University with a Bachelor's degree in physics with theoretical physics in 1982 and he has worked in the design of microwave devices ever since. He has worked with EEV, Litton and CPI developing vacuum tubes for radar and communications systems, the development of injection locked magnetrons for use in pulsed Doppler radar systems and developed piezoelectric tuning mechanisms, long life cathode technology and miniaturised magnet packages for magnetrons. During these activities he was awarded five patents relating to aspects of magnetron design. He joined European Antennas in 1998.

HEAD OF ENGINEERING
Andy Murphy
Andy heads the engineering team’s activities and is responsible for the design, development and production engineering of European Antennas range of innovative, cost effective designs.  Andy graduated from Loughborough University with an Engineering degree in 1996 and joined European Antennas in September of that year. Starting in the drawing office, his understanding and knowledge of antenna design has grown with the company.
