High Gain, 3.4 - 3.7GHz Directional Subscriber Antenna

19 October 2000

Flat panel subscriber antenna, 3.4 to 3.7GHzEuropean Antennas Ltd launch their new 24dBi gain, 3.4 to3.7GHz flat panel subscriber antenna that can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into an OEM radio to provide a compact package.

With 24dBi gain it can be used as a long distance subscriber antenna, double the range of standard 18dBi gain antennas that are usually used in Wireless Local Loop and Fixed Radio Access systems.

Meeting the toughest ETSI point-to-multipoint specification (TS4) it will be ideal for use in any licensed applications. With 8x8 degree HPBW and front-to-back ratio of over 35dBi, this antenna allows system operators to plan for optimum frequency reuse in dense RF environments.

With the extended coverage of 3.4 to 3.7GHz, this antenna can be used in established markets and in emerging territories, reducing OEM inventories.

Measuring 570 x 570mm (23"x23"), and being mounted across the corners, greater stability is provided under adverse weather conditions. The radome is a high impact, UV stabilised copolymer, mounted on to a rugged, plated aluminium chassis.
