Three New Antennas - Broadband Spiral, Sector and Omni

25 March 2004

Broadband Spiral antenna, model number PSA-8026R/1050
This broadband antenna covers GSM900, GSM1800 and UMTS and can be used for wireless LAN 2.4/802.11, WiFi and surveillance applications. Circular polarisation mitigates the negative effects of multipath environments. Small, compact and easy to mount, it is directional for good local area coverage. Weighing only 520g, it can be used for semi-permanent surveillance installations. Range 0.8 to 2.5 GHz.

Sector antenna, model number SA12-180-24V/1046
Although mainly for FRA applications, this antenna can be used for wireless LAN, MMDS, TV broadcast and larger WiFi hotspots. It is ETSI compliant and full pattern information can be provided for site planning. Minimal signal leakage provides excellent front-to-back performance. It is fully sealed for use outside. An adjustable mounting kit with mechanical down-tilt provides a flexible system to optimise coverage. Range 2.3 to 2.5 GHz.

Dual, Vertically Polarised Omni antenna, model number DVO7-2450-DT/1014
Dual omni antenna can optimise distance and close-in coverage in one unit. Ideal as a rural broadband base station for wireless access. Can be used for point-to-point wireless LAN applications for multi-terrain, hilly environments. Single antenna is environmentally more attractive and easier to mount. Fully sealed for external use. Wide elevation coverage with 7dBi gain. Low azimuth ripple and stability over the frequency range. Frequency range 2.4 to 2.5GHz.
