REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing business, creating new opportunities including key accounts and managing the international distributor network within an assigned territory geographical region.
Duties involve responding to enquiries, interpreting customer requirements for development projects, preparing quotations and internal liaison with customer service administrators and design engineers.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to close deals and win business in a competitive environment.  The flexibility to travel overseas is essential.
A qualification in Electronic/Electrical/Scientific area is required with successful sales and commercial experience a prerequisite.

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN/ASSEMBLER

Working on all levels of assembly, you will need to be experienced in electro-mechanical assembly and be capable of working accurately to defined tolerances from engineering drawings, assembly notes and bills of material. You will need to be fully conversant with soldering techniques and have a good eye for detail. Relevant experienced gained working and training in a manufacturing environment to the quality standards expected for aerospace and military customers would be advantageous, as would working with electrostatic sensitive devices (ESSD).
You will be handling various PCBs, glass fibre, adhesives, aluminium and copper. Refresher/update training on our process specifications will be given. You should have completed a recognised craft or company training scheme, be conscientious and able to demonstrate a high level of commitment. Hours of work are 37 per week.

MACHINIST/TECHNICIAN (part time, 2-3 days a week)

The successful candidate will be conversant with the use of general machine shop power tools such as sheet metal cutting, centre lathes, vertical milling machinery and press/punching tool design and will preferably hold a craft served apprenticeship.  The ability to work accurately and methodically with high commitment to quality is key in this role.
You will be dealing with requests in support of the development and production activities of the company, for the manufacture or modification of prototypes or small batches, and will report to the production manager.
Duties include designing and making jigs/tools for modification processes, accurate interpretation of engineering drawings, conventional milling and turning using non CNC machinery and working with a variety of materials including aluminium, brass, stainless steel and various plastics.
